Voice session troubleshooting playbook

Fast diagnostics for failed station loads, microphone issues, and blocked voice sessions.

Step-by-step diagnostics

  1. Go to Voice Practice and open the same station again.
  2. Refresh the page and wait until the station fully loads.
  3. Check your browser microphone permission is set to Allow.
  4. Check your headset or microphone is connected and selected.
  5. Speak once and confirm your input level is moving.
  6. If nothing moves, switch input device in system sound settings and re-open the station.
  7. If station loading fails, sign out, sign back in, and retry once.
  8. Try the session again. If it still fails, test another supported browser.

Common causes

  • Microphone permission denied.
  • Wrong microphone selected (for example laptop mic instead of headset).
  • Session expired and needs a new sign in.
  • Slow or unstable internet causing incomplete station/session loading.

What to send support

  • Station name and approximate time of issue.
  • Page URL and exact error message.
  • Browser name/version and operating system.
